Ho visto nel topic ps5pro le sagome del prossimo aggiornamento.

Ci sono già le prime speculazioni sulle auto?

Io dal telefono mi sembra di vedere la Escort cosworth, forse una jeep (hummer? 🤔) e quella in primo piano mi ricordava la ferrari 458 Ita...ma visto che c'è già non può essere.

Le altre due neanche mi hanno ricordato nulla😄

Our eyes are drawn immediately to the top-left vehicle, which bears the unmistakable boxy shape and roof lines of a car we actually already have in the game. That’s the current-generation of Suzuki Jimny, added back in January’s 1.42 update. It seems likely then that this will be the “world” model, or “Sierra” body vehicle, in contrast to the kei variant we have already.

Moving clockwise we have one of the most-requested vehicles in Gran Turismo’s history, easily identified by the absurd rear wing. That’s the Ford Escort RS Cosworth, and the apparent presence of the sunroof indicates it’s the road car and not a rally variant.

It’s a bit trickier to pin the next car down exactly, but in general terms it’s a 992-generation Porsche 911. We reckon, from the rear wing, it’s a Turbo or Turbo S model, but we’ll have to wait and see for more specifics on that front.

Another Porsche sits next to it, in the shape of the company’s next-generation halo product. That’s the Porsche Mission X Concept, which Porsche presented to itself as a 75th birthday present back in 2023, and the all-electric hypercar is set to preview a range-topping performance model that’s coming soon.

Finally we have one that’s pretty hard to guess right away. It has a classic sports car shape, and a whole load of bulges going on — particularly the fairing ahead of the driver — which we think closely matches the Mercedes-Benz W196 Monoposto. This was raced in the 1955 Formula One World Championship by drivers like Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss, winning five of six races that year (Indy 500 aside).

Of course this only refers to the vehicle content of the update, and any other contents are unknown at this time. Should the update follow the usual schedule we’ll find out more on Wednesday November 20, ahead of its arrival on the following day and the more detailed patch notes that accompany it.

One thing we’re very firmly expecting in the update though is official support for the PlayStation 5 Pro through a “Pro Enhanced” patch. This will add the new graphics modes for the game which we’ve seen previewed, although it remains to be seen if the improved capabilities that players are already experiencing will be removed at the same time.

As noted above, we’re expecting this update to arrive on Thursday November 21, and watch this space for all the latest information as we get it.

While you can download the file now, it won’t be available to install until 0600 UTC on Thursday November 21, and that marks the first time we’ve seen update preloads in a Gran Turismo title. The sheer size of the thing is probably the reason behind that, in order to allow a more progressive roll-out than having several million PS5 and PS5 Pro users trying to download ten times as much data all at once.

Other contents are unknown at this time, and although the very large download size might tempt players into thinking a new circuit or circuit location might be part of it, we’re tempering our own expectations to it simply being down to the PS5 Pro Enhanced patch.

It’s likely that the 32GB isn’t all-new data, as it represents almost a quarter of GT7’s current 136GB size on disc, so there’s probably some repackaging of the PS5 install going on. That would also explain why PS4 (and PS4 Pro) players don’t have access to the preload.
